There will be baseball open gym Sunday from 1-3 p.m.
There will be a baseball meeting May 2nd at 6 p.m. in the cafeteria. Please attend with a parent if you plan on playing baseball.
The next Students for High Impact Charity meeting will be on Thursday, May 3, after school in Mrs. Aviña's room 128. The topic is Cognitive Quirks. We will be taking a look at our cognitive biases and try to understand why they exist. All are welcome to attend.
Seniors - The Josten's rep will be here during the lunch hours on Monday to distribute graduation orders.
A reminder for National Honor Society senior members – Scholarship applications are due on Monday, 4/30, by 3:30.
Yesterday, the varsity golf team competed at Autumn Ridge in Valders for EWC Mini Tour #1. The Huskies shot a 194 as a team which earned them a 2nd place finish. In addition, Calvin Leverenz took 3rd overall with his round of 43. Leverenz and Ben Andrew earned All Conference points. The 2nd place finish is the highest team finish in a conference meet in more than five years. Excellent start, team! Keep up the great work!
Congrats to Girls Soccer on their first conference win of the season against Sheboygan Falls 5-2. ? Scoring for the Huskies, Sydney Steiner, April Kienbaum assisted Megan Ecker, Hannah Krupp, Olivia Ondrejka, and Julia Danes assisted by Hannah Krupp. Keep up the awesome work! The ladies play at home on Thursday against Valders. Come out and show your support.
This is a reminder to all students that 4th quarter midquarters is Monday, April 30.
Attention all students signed up for APUSH next year – There will be a short meeting today right after school. It will take approximately five minutes.
Juniors - Prom is fast approaching and it’s time to buy your dinner and dance ticket. Dinner tickets will be sold only today;. Dinner and Dance is $30.00. Dance tickets will be sold up until Prom, but the dinner need to be ordered today.
There are several farms looking for help this spring and summer. Some are dairy farms and one is a large crop farm. If you are looking for a job, Mr Heinbuch has more information for you and there are several options to pick from. Stop by the Ag room and find out more information today.
New Holstein School District is looking for cleaning help this summer. If interested, pick up an application in the high school office. Past workers should stop in the office and tell them if they are interested in returning.
Have you ever wonder what it would feel like to be a hero? Find out by giving blood at the American Red Cross blood drive on May 2nd. If you’d like to sign up to donate, or if you have questions, contact Mr. Ollhoff, or sign up during your lunch period at the table located in the commons. By signing up you have a chance to win a gift card to local businesses like the Village Inn, Piggly Wiggly, Subway, Dairy Queen, and Kwik Trip. Seniors, the more students that sign up, the bigger the scholarship that the American Red Cross is able to give out at the end of the year. If you are sixteen and would like to donate, you will need to pick up a parent consent form from either Mr. Ollhoff or at the table in the commons. By giving blood you can be somebody who saves lives!
Student Council members - please check your emails by the end of the day today. We will also be meeting next week Wednesday, May 2 during lunch.
Moraine Park Technical College is offering a Tech Knowledge College this summer. This is a 3-day summer activity for students going into 6th, 7th and 8th grades. It is held at the Fond du Lac campus on July 31 - August 2. This exciting opportunity allows students to explore careers, experience hands-on learning and have a whole lot of fun! There are a variety of sessions to choose from. The cost is $115 for the 3 days which also includes bussing from our West Bend and Beaver Dam campuses, lunch, a morning snack and a t-shirt. More information is available in the middle school office.
Information about a Tractor Safety Course is available in the office. The sessions will be held in July and are offered through Fox Valley Technical College.
