Hello,

My name is Nick Gries.  I am beginning my 27th year at New Holstein High School. I am a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh where I earned a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Physical Education, Health and Coaching.  I am the Chairperson for the Physical Education Department and the Fitness Center Coordinator.

I live in Combined Locks with my wife Jennie.  Our twin daughters, Madisen and Makenna, are currently in college completing degrees in Biology (Pre-PA) and 3-D Animation respectively.

We have a great staff and fantastic physical education program here at NHHS.  Our goal is to promote lifetime health and fitness while providing a positive, meaningful experience for every student.  We achieve this through a strong curriculum that offers a wide variety of activities and state-of-the-art facilities.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, and participating in all types of land and water sports.
